To an everyday miner, being underground was their job.To someone who has never had the experience of visiting an underground mine, it is quite impressive!It is just like a little town under the ground.Mines Gaspe had miles and miles of road with a street light system controling traffac,huge maintenance garage,crusher,conveyer belts,lunch rooms ,safety rooms,pumping stations and of course ventilation systems.
